As a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation with The Law Society of Upper Canada, Rob has over 27 years experience in defending the rights of injured people. Recently he was inducted as a fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers. Rob has an excellent track record as a trial lawyer and a reputation for winning those cases that get to court, including Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

A horrendous two car collision occurred in the City of Hamilton. A vehicle operated by Ms. Dawn Safranyos, carrying four children, failed to yield the right of way and was “T-boned” at highway speed by an approaching vehicle.
8 Million Dollar Win at the Supreme Court of Canada
After winning a groundbreaking negligence ruling and award of $8 million for our catastrophically injured client in court in Ontario, we were successful at the Ontario Court of Appeal and again at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Vehicle Accident – Romanoski Estate v. Seburn
Hooper Law’s advocacy resulted in the Court finding that the woman fit into the arguably unclear definitions of “spouse” in the applicable legislation, allowing her to be compensated for the life-changing loss of her partner, even though their daughter had not yet been born.
